I Two roads
The blank page and the catalogue.
Most houses are made in one of two ways. Some are drawn from nothing, slowly, in a language the people who will live there rarely get to speak. Others are picked from a short list of types and adjusted at the edges.
The first asks for patience few lives allow. The second asks you to fit yourself to a plan made for someone else. Something is lost either way: the feeling that the house was made for you.
